Chairman

Maj. Gen (R) Ghulam Mustafa Kausar

Mr. Ghulam Mustafa Kausar served the Pakistan Army and retired with the rank of Major General. He holds a Master's in War Studies and a Master's in Business Management from CIT UK. He is a graduate of the Command and Staff College Quetta as well as the French Army Staff Course, and has served as an instructor at the Pakistan Military Academy, Infantry School, and the National Defence University.

He served as Garrison Commander Lahore, Member of the Army Restructuring Committee, and Director General Maintenance Production at the Ministry of Defence Production, where he was engaged in developing local industry through indigenization and foreign collaboration. An interpreter of French, he also served in the United Nations peacekeeping mission in Cambodia as an operational officer.

In his post-retirement career, he has been deeply involved in corporate and philanthropic work. He served as Managing Director of Askari Cement Limited and is currently the Chairman of Fast Cables Limited. He is also the Chairman of Fatima Latif Foundation (PCP certified Trust) and has completed SECP approved Directors Training.

Vice Chairman

Mian Ghulam Murtaza Shaukat

Mr. Ghulam Murtaza Shaukat has been the Chief Executive Officer of Fast Cables Limited since its inception, and now serves as Vice Chairman of the Board. His technical expertise in cable and conductor manufacturing has been instrumental in building Fast Cables' reputation as a trustworthy manufacturer of electrical cables and conductors.

He has played a key role in introducing the latest production technologies and testing facilities at Fast Cables' state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities. Under his guidance, the team has significantly enhanced production capacity and strengthened the supply chain. He has also served as an Executive Committee (Board) member of the Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

Mr. Shaukat is currently the Vice Chairman of Fatima Latif Foundation (PCP certified Trust) and is involved in various philanthropic projects. He has also completed SECP approved Directors Training.

Foundation Member

Kamal Mahmood Amjad Mian

Mr. Kamal Mian is CEO at Fast Cables Limited with more than 25 years' experience across local and international corporate and industrial sectors. He began his career as a corporate law attorney at Pakistan's leading corporate law firm, Orr, Dignam & Co., Islamabad. He subsequently worked at the Pakistan Telecom Authority (PTA), Al Baraka Group (Jeddah), HSBC Bank (Dubai), and Saudi Hollandi Bank (Riyadh) in Islamic corporate and investment banking for more than 12 years.

He holds a Master of Laws specialising in corporate and international finance from Harvard Law School and an LLB (Hons.) from the International Islamic University, Islamabad. He is a member of the Lahore High Court Bar Association and has obtained SECP-accredited directors training from IBA, Karachi.

Mr. Kamal Mian has played an active role in addressing issues faced by the local manufacturing industry, serving on the Executive Committee of the LCCI and as President of the Harvard Club of Pakistan in 2015. He is a member of the steering committee of the Pakistan Regulatory Modernization Initiative (PRMI) at the Board of Investment, and serves on the Board of Trustees of Ihsaan Trust, Karachi, and Fatima Latif Foundation, Lahore.

Foundation Member

Saima Mian

Ms. Saima Mian is a team leader with 20 years of management experience and a proven track record of driving organizational transformation, building high-performance teams, strengthening professionalism, and managing multiple projects simultaneously to deliver excellence. She holds a Master's degree in Water Science, Policy & Management from the University of Oxford, UK, and is a U.S. Green Building Council LEED® Accredited Professional with several publications in international journals.

She serves as Director Strategic Initiatives at Fast Cables Limited and is also a member of the Board of Trustees of Fatima Latif Foundation. She began her career with SmithKline Beecham (now GSK) in the pharmaceutical industry and went on to work for Woods Hole Group Middle East in Riyadh and Dubai before moving back to Pakistan in 2012.

She has contributed to Fast Cables' business expansion through focus on human resource development; scaling brand-building and marketing activities; developing and overseeing implementation of policies and procedures; and initiating strategic planning projects. Saima has completed SECP approved Directors Training and serves as a member of the FPCCI Women's Entrepreneur Committee 2024.
